Awards and recognitions

Distinguished by Gulbenkian with the Vilalva Prize, Chalet Ficalho combines heritage preservation with sustainable practices, reflecting an exemplary commitment to the environment and culture.

Following a proposal from Cascais City Council, the procedure for classifying Chalet Ficalho and its garden as Cultural Heritage was opened, taking into account its symbolic and memorial value for the town of Cascais, recognising its heritage value on a national scale.
